About
Manufacturing IT seen from the shop floor
This site is the introduction page of a Hungarian manufacturing IT practice and, at the same time, a collection of work samples. The home page shows which problems are worth tackling in a production plant: where production time is lost, how the real data of machines can be measured, and what can be done with maintenance requests. The sample applications here are not screenshots but genuinely working systems: the OEE report calculates from a database and the maintenance app writes its tickets into that same database.
The site was made primarily for the managers, production supervisors and maintenance leads of manufacturing companies, but it can also be useful for plant engineers and smaller businesses that want to make shift performance measurable. The goal is simple: to put tools in their hands that are usable in daily work, not only for the end-of-month report.
The site and the samples are built and operated by Pálfi Attila István, sole proprietor builds and operates the site and the samples. The professional background covers programming of production equipment and lines, industrial PC, PLC and SQL integration, database server operation and mobile shop-floor application development. The emphasis is always on fitting the system to the machines you already have, so that the whole technology does not have to be replaced to make production measurable.
If you would like to see what this could look like in your plant, take a look at the samples, or book an introductory meeting — we will go through what is worth measuring first.
